Things to Know Before You Go:

Rates & Stay: Per guest sharing a double-bed thatched rondawel with en-suite bathroom; couples’ rates available

Difficulty: Easy — suitable for new and experienced safari-goers

Packing: Muted colours, walking shoes, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, swimwear, headlamp for evenings; light rain jacket for summer; warm jacket and beanie for winter

Health: Malaria prophylaxis recommended; use insect repellent; comprehensive travel insurance advised

Power & Connectivity: Solar-powered, limited internet, bring chargers and adaptors

Dietary Needs: Accommodated with advance notice

Tipping: Recommended R800 per guest for guides and staff

Booking Deposit:

We work exclusively with smaller local suppliers, which require higher minimum bookings to run our experiences, when compared to conventional tour & travel operators.

As such, a deposit is required to secure this booking, which is refundable should we not meet these minimums.

That means you pay less upfront to secure your spot, and our suppliers can continue to trust that we'll deliver on our promise to support their businesses sustainably & in the long-term.
